indigoWTR is a proud member of 1% for the Planet — a global movement of businesses that commit 1% of annual sales to environmental nonprofits. For us, this isn't just a pledge. It's an expression of the same intention we charge into every bottle.
Water is life. The springs, rivers, and oceans that sustain us deserve our protection. By joining 1% for the Planet, we ensure that a meaningful portion of every purchase flows directly back into the natural world.
What is 1% for the Planet?
Founded in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia and Craig Mathews of Blue Ribbon Flies, 1% for the Planet is a global alliance of businesses, nonprofits, and individuals working together to support environmental solutions. Members commit to giving at least 1% of annual gross sales to approved environmental partners.
To date, member companies have contributed over $600 million to environmental nonprofits around the world, supporting causes that protect land, water, wildlife, and communities.
